About Me
Growing up in Houston, Texas, sports have always been and continue to be an integral part of my life. After graduating from Baylor University, I completed my medical degree at the University of Texas- Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX.
A change of scenery and climate was in order; therefore, I fulfilled my general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. To conclude my 14th year of training, I completed my surgical spine fellowship at the Florida Spine Institute.
Today, I live and work in warm and sunny Vero Beach, Florida. I am a past Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Indian River Medical Center and the Director of the Medical Specialties Surgery Center. I am a board-certified fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. I enjoy contributing to my community by promoting endeavors that help create opportunities for children.
